圆锥齿轮是在相交的两轴之间传递运动的圆锥形齿轮。按其齿线形状和方向可分为直齿锥齿轮、斜齿锥齿轮，零度锥齿轮及曲线齿锥齿轮等。圆锥齿轮齿数为Z1=13～30，常取≥16。根据节锥表面展开图中齿线形状的不同，圆锥齿轮可分为：

　　直齿锥齿轮是圆锥齿轮中最简单的一种。其节锥齿线为径向直线形，各齿线都通过节锥锥尖，它的轮齿走向是沿圆锥母线方向，并逐渐地由齿轮截锥体的大端向小端按比例收缩，最后在空间交于两相啮合齿轮轴线的交点处。

　　Straight bevel gear is the simplest kind of bevel gear.Its pitch cone tooth line is a radial straight line,and each tooth line passes through the pitch cone tip.Its gear tooth direction is along the direction of the conical generatrix,and gradually shrinks from the large end of the gear cutting cone to the small end in proportion,and finally intersects at the intersection of the two meshing gear axes in space.
